Since August 2015, one-week beginner and advanced courses in the practical acquisition of Maltese have been offered annually by the experienced Maltese teacher Sandra Abela. These language classes are open to interested students worldwide. In fact, the courses attract participants not only from Bremen University and other universities in Germany but also from other countries, such as Russia, Sweden, Spain, the United Kingdom and the USA.
